Just a quick announcement regarding changes to the "verified" member status.
Previously, a verified profile was meant to indicate a member who claimed to be Torah only. Recently, a few users were removed from verified status due to demonstrating otherwise. However, today after further contemplation, and because we are ultimately working toward building a true community, it has been decided it should represent membership in said community.
Because community building efforts are still ongoing, we will reopen verified status to members once we've established a process for joining the community. At this point in time, the only verified members are:
Myself and my wife Amy (I operate this website)
Jacob Eben (of TorahCentric, leader of online Shabbat meetings and teaming up to build community)
Josh and Tayla Roy (long term members of our local middle Tennessee Torah study and blog article contributors to this website.)
Please don't feel is in any way a slight. I expect that most don't even pay attention to their verification status, but I wanted to let everyone know what is going on just in case.
