There is something so satisfying about being the one to teach your child how to read. In the future if they go on to get a fancy degree or become very knowledgeable about some subject through extensive research, it all started when you sat beside them sounding out a-m and r-a-t. I’m currently teaching Kimber to read and it gives me such a good feeling and makes me very grateful I get to be the one to do this.
