I am a Mother of 4 grown children and Grandmother to 4 amazing rambunctious boy's who are being raised in Torah by my Torah observant eldest daughter Oliviyah. I am Torah Only for the past 4-5 years after coming out of christianity, messianic hebrew roots, etc, a journey which began some 11 years ago or so. YHUH to be praised!! Sadly my husband remains in christianity although I have tried to convince him otherwise. Only one of my adult children has chosen to accept the Torah life after we left christianity, the other three are living very secular lives now. I was a Youth leader and my children were the youth worship team in the charismatic church that we attended so the break away from that has been very difficult especially for them. My husband did not attend the same congregation as us, its complicated.... this has been a roller coaster ride, but I'd do it all over again if I had to even though we have lost many friends and family members as most of you have to. It has been a very lonely walk at times and I am thrilled to see that Troy has created this site.

  • What are everyone's thought's on the interesting times we find ourselves in? I know the christians think jc is gonna come any day, the jews and many of our friends who accept the Tanak are excitedly talking about the mashiac from david expected anyday. I was just on FB and read a lot from friends in a FB group who sure came out of christianity but are very caught up in the book of daniel etc.

  • After reading Troy's article "The Wool Over Your Eyes" I was reminded that not only should the NT be regarded as a test but also The Tanach. Deuteronomy 13 strongly comes to mind. Not only is christianity failing that test but hebrew roots and judaism as well. May YHUH keep us humble and our eye's and ears on Him and Him alone.

  • Hi there, I'm new here but not new to Torah Only. Some of you I have befriended on FB or other social media sites and I have known Troy Leaver through his past FB group for quite some time. I'm very thankful for Troy sending me the link for this group on MeWe, a site I hardly ever frequent. I won't go into my story here, I added a very short form on my Bio. I'm hoping my daughter Oliviyah will find her way here as well. As far as we know we are the only torah only followers in Calgary so communities like this are a true blessing whilst we find ourselves still so very scattered.
